Matching Gift Challenge

Your gift made during Community Action’s matching gift challenge will be matched dollar for dollar.*

CAP’s emergency services funding provides the flexibility to respond to local needs such as combating food insecurity, identifying warm places for homeless people to stay, providing gas cards for transportation, giving diapers, hygiene products, winter coats, hats, and blankets to those in need.  

Your gift will help families like the Black family, a family of four who came to CAP for housing assistance, and now donates their time back at distribution events.  “I will never forget how I felt when we had absolutely nowhere to go” Mr. Black said “then you called and gave us the best gift anyone could ever give a person.  We are and will forever be grateful to CAP!”
